The 2007 Architecture Foundation annual dinner was held at the Aqua Bar and Grill Restaurant, Merewether. They were fine hosts and are generous sponsors of The Architecture Foundation.

1. The 2006 Eric Parker Scholar, Jo Bastian presented her address about her travels.

4. Paola Favaro introduced the guest speaker.

5. Enrico Taglietti spoke about his approach to architecture and his response to practising in Australia over more than 50 years.

6. John Drake introduced the 2007 Eric Parker Travelling Scholar, Kim Bridgland.

7. Ruth Parker welcomed Kim Bridgland as the 2007 scholar and presented him with his scholarship certificate.

10. Jo Bastian returned from her travels with some unique items which were auctioned in aid of the Foundation’s activities.

Mark Lawler needed little prompting to get the guests actively bidding.

11. Typical of all auctions, those most active looked away before playing their hand.

12. By contrast, the interest in two superb watercolours specially done by Charles Martin resulted in the most successful raffles yet.

The draw was supervised by Robert Macindoe, Noel Yaxley and Tabitha Taglietti, Enrico’s daughter who attended the occasion.

Ruth Parker drew the winners from the Foundation’s valuable antique raffle box.
